After an ascent of Table Mountain, visit the floral wonder on the Eastern slopes of the mountain – Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Your guided tour will amongst others include the cycad forest, the fragrance garden, Van Riebeeck’s hedge, the conservatory for indigenous plants and the speciality shop. Lunch is optional at the Kirstenbosch Restaurant. After lunch, visit one of the Constantia Wine Route farms for a tasting of quality wines.

Your overland travel includes Helshoogte Pass, Franschhoek Pass, Houw Hoek Pass and Clarence Drive along the False Bay coast, as you return towards the Winelands or Cape Town. During the course of the day, your visits/stops can include a selected Wine Estate, the Huguenot Memorial, a roadside farm stall for local preserves and confectionary, and the historic centre of Hermanus. The beautiful Fynbos of the Cape will also be viewed along the route, and a final stop at an African Penguin breeding colony. While enjoying lunch in Hermanus, you can be viewing Southern Right Whales as the frolic near the shore (July to end November being the best time of year).
